Here we'll have conversations about faith, food, and belonging at/around the table. I believe the table is a beautiful, sacred space where Jesus teaches us to share our stories. Gathering around any table, every table, is an opportunity to experience something holy.

There is a place for you at God’s table. This statement is at the core of my ministry and mission as a pastor. I have served in various roles in local church ministry through the United Methodist Church since 1995. Whether leading worship, mentoring youth, teaching children, or as an ordained elder leading a church, it always comes down to this; genuine hospitality, creating space for honest conversation, valuing time together, and caring about the people God loves (that means everyone – there is no one God doesn’t love). My goal as a local church pastor is to guide, encourage, and provide opportunities for my congregation and community to participate in doing just that. Loving God by loving and serving others is the best way I know to invite people to God’s table.
Currently, I serve as the pastor for Edinburg First UMC. If you find yourself in the Rio Grande Valley, I would love to sit around a table with you. We can share a coffee, a meal, and a conversation. There is always a place for you at God’s table, and there is a place for you at mine as well.
